Dear valued friends and guests,

My team and I are dedicated to delivering exceptional service while ensuring that our guests and associates feel comfortable and confident returning to the Westin Dublin.  We wish to express our gratitude to the local health authorities, medical personnel and frontline responders for their continued efforts in safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our community.

We  want to assure you that we are adhering to or exceeding all recommendations for safety, sanitation and social distancing from the Irish government and Marriott International.

We trust that these steps will provide you with a sense of comfort that the measures taken are in your best interest and the best interest of our associates.

Covid 19 Health and Safety Measures

Below you will find information about some changes you can expect when you arrive and during your stay at the hotel.

Fáilte Ireland Covid 19 Safety Charter

We are delighted to advise that we have secured our Covid 19 Safety Charter from Fáilte Ireland.  The Safety Charter demonstrates that we are operating in line with current Government public health advice and with safety and cleaning protocols in place. This Charter is designed to give comfort and reassurance to our valued guests and associates that we are ready to re-open safely.

Associates

Each associate has undertaken training specifically on COVID-19 and related safety and sanitation protocols.  Established by the experts on Marriott’s Cleanliness Council who are also currently developing role-specific training for hotel teams with frequent guest contact including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Public Areas, Hotel Operations and Security.

Our associates will wear personal protective equipment and training has been provided on how to wear and remove PPE safely.

Public spaces

In our public spaces and high-traffic areas, we are going above and beyond our normal protocols. We are cleaning surfaces with increased frequency, dedicated staff, and recommended cleaning agents.

Hand sanitising stations have been installed at hotel entrances, at front desks, elevator banks, and meeting spaces.

Signage in public spaces is in place to remind our guests to maintain social distancing.

Valet Parking

Valet parking is available for overnight guests, the charge is €30.00.  Prior to returning your vehicle all interior surfaces and keys will be sanitised for your safety.

Check in and Check out

Marriott Bonvoy members are encouraged to use the Mobile Application to access Mobile Check In, Marriott Mobile Key as well as the interactive chat facility to communicate specific requests with our front office team.

Should you wish to check in with an associate at the Front Desk, protective screens are in place at our reception desk for guest registration and where possible, our reception team will use every other station to adhere to social distancing measures.

Contactless payment options and email receipts are encouraged. When this is not possible payment terminals will be sanitised between transactions.

Guest rooms

In our guest rooms, we have elevated our rigorous protocols to thoroughly clean all surfaces with hospital-grade disinfectants. Sanitisation kits with disinfectant wipes will be placed in each guest room for guests use.

In addition to training on housekeeping and hygiene protocols, hotel associates have also completed enhanced COVID-19 awareness training.

Food and Beverage outlets

Following the recent government restrictions announced for Dublin, Morelands Grill and the Atrium Lounge will be closed to non residents until the 10th October while the Westin Dublin remains open for hotel residents. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone on 01 645 1000 or by email on reservations@thewestindublin.com. We look forward to welcoming our valued guests back soon.

We encourage paying with credit or debit card or room charge.

All tables and seating areas will be sanitised after each use.
